Svetlana SV83 NOS (6N15NM)

This is truly a sweet tube. Steve used this tube in his Amps up till 2006 or 7, I believe. THEY ARE NO LONGER MANUFACTURED in Russia. Furthermore, if the Tube does not have: 6n15nM printed on it...it is not a NOS Svetlana SV83.

My story with them: I so worried that I would not have this Tube available to me....I bought a few extra pairs back in 2005. 2006 they were extinct. I speculated correctly! I now use my ZMA so much an alternate my SE84CS in from time to time....so these great tubes should not just sit with me. I'm not a hoarder an believe in good Karma. They need to go.

I'm bulk posting the rest of them in two lots on eBay next week/Friday. They will be gone (except for my personal stash of course). If you have an original C, C+ or CS....you might like them better than the 6P15P-EV's or EL84 types, or maybe not. I love them an use nothing else in my SE84CS. I call them the Tube that started it all............ .

Friday, I put them as a bulk order on eBay. All of mine were purchased new and I have never had one fail in 14 years. That is a track record. The last time I will post about them here.

If you never had an original Svetlana SV83...now is the time. 48 States only. Market value is $15 per tube/new (see thread above). You could sell them for what you paid for them. Meaning, with the CCE, CKC mods on the Super Zen, the EV's or EL84's are pretty much the ticket. But, if you have a C, C+ or SE84CS.....I love the Svetlana SV83. However, try them in your CKC.....you might like it Mikey?!

Oh, an Caveat Emptor: Svetlana SV83 NOS can be used in Steve's Amps. THEY ARE NOT A DIRECT DROP IN REPLACMENT FOR JUST ANY EL84 AMP. CONTACT YOUR MANUFACTURER.

In conclusion, the bulk order one an done, to a DIY multiple style Amp builder dude, is easiest for me. However, I'm willing to do a 4 pair minimum multiple orders to Decware Forumer's thru Thursday. Peace, Stone.

~Bump~ for Core32, I will get your 4 pair out on Monday and bulk list the rest as I stated, on AudiogoN on Monday. To busy today to do it.

One other caveat to these NOS SV83 Svetlana (6n15nM) Tubes: The Logo, bronze gold in color, also how you can tell they are new Tubes (if you don't have a tester), will give off a prominent odor for the first 20 minutes of firing them up....then it will dissipate. The logo is large enough to cause this burnishing an smell. Don't be alarmed, then the burnished color is Silver.

This SV83 can run in Steve's Amps. The "Pins" are set to do so. So, I run them in my SE84CS obviously, this Amp was voiced with them. I can also run them in my Super Zen CKC.
