What is the advantage in getting the Beewax Cap upgrade to the CSP3 Headphone amp?

I can't speak to the CSP3 but I have three CSP2+ --two without and one with the Beeswax caps.

The one with has a bit more of an open midrange and a bit more of dynamic contrasts. Not a huge difference, but as Will noted on the forum, the beeswax caps make you see that there's a bit of a signature to the CSP2+ in its stock non-beeswax cap state.

I have a CSP3 with beeswax and a CSP2+ without beeswax caps.

In my system, there is a definite improvement in sonics.
My CSP3 sounds better, it is more natural sounding and more emotionally satisfying.

So I suggest that you go for the caps upgrade.

I've even spoken to other cap makers who give props to the Beeswax Jupiter caps. They describe them as natural and neutral and simply letting the music through.
