Not the Psvane but have a pair of 70's tungsram 12ax7 in.  A bit pronounced more gain edging towards harsh but not there

What about a 5751 since it has less gain that a 12ax but more than a 12at?

anyone try them?

In my system the 12AX7T was a great tube. They came in a matched pair, and at $100, they were worth the coin. No doubt, this would vary from system to system, and ear to ear. I'm keeping mine.

The Psvane small signal tubes take a LONG time to settle in. The Mini does not run the input tube hard so be patient.  ;)
