ZP3 5Y3GT tube
03/25/14 at 04:31:53
Hello all,
I have the ZP3 phono amp and I wanted to know if I can exchange the 5Y3GT tube with a Philips 5R4GYS tube?
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Dixlon, nice to see another new face !
The Philips 5R4GYS will be good. It`s a
fine tube.

No prob Dixlon, the ZP3 is a great phono, I get a buzz knowing you`re hearing the big, effortless sound. The RCA rectifiers are liked as well with the ZP3. 5R4gy, 5U4gb.
Thats one of the pleasures with the Decware amps, the rectifiers all work with each other, so you can vary to suit taste.
Your ZP3 will impress you, I`m sure. 8-)
