Mini Torii Help

All,

I just received my Mini Torii left channel is absolutely amazing, while the right channel does not work at all. The voltage regulator does not come on. I swapped the OA3 tubes and the problem stayed with the left channel, not with the tube, so the tubes are fine. I am really bummed. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The problem followed the EZ81 regulator, emailed Steve for a replacement.

All is well!

Great. Glad all is well. Get a back up set of tubes. Let us know what you think of the amp. I am listening to mine now, and I like it a lot.  ;D

Yeah I am glad that it followed the tube, for sure!

Any recommendations on tubes other than JJ's?

Obtain some RFT EZ81's from Jim McShane. They work quite well.

Brent Jesse also has a great selection of tubes and is really great to communicate with! As far as the JJ EZ81's.....do yourself a favor and get a set of NOS EZ81 tubes Smiley

You could try some RCA, GE or Sylvania 6CA4.

Any advice on the Tesla brand?

One other question, should both the rectifiers match brands or is that not important?
