easily confused
12/01/12 at 00:55:43

Hey Anyone,
How can I get some pictures on this forum.  I've got something I want to share with the good people here and I need to be able to do it in words and pictures.  So... if anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.
Sorry for being so incapable.
Thanks in advance,

The best way is to post them at a photo sharing site like Photobucket or Flicker.
Then push the 3rd little button from the top left that looks like a little picture, when you hover over the button it says Insert Image. Push the button and [img][/img] comes up.
Put the URL of your picture between the ] and [
Now when you preview your post, the photo should show up.

I know it seems hard, but I've put up quite a few pictures here and this seems like the best way.

These are a couple monoblocked ZKIT1's mounted on a board.  Upstream is a Pas-3 (soon to be recapped) which takes orders from a Sony DVP-S9000es or better yet an un-modified "The Turntable".  Down stream is an interesting rotation of bi-polar speakers.  I have a pair of Heathkit AS-103a's. (AR-3a)  Now then, I have a pair of Tannoy 15" reds as well.  I respectfully enjoy both of their attributes.  Really this amp has brought them together more than set them apart.  Nothing could be better for me.  I must say Thank You from my heart to Steve.  Your generosity is overwhelming and I can't express how grateful I am for your willingness to offer DIY projects.  I have never heard music sound better.  I'm glad I found your magic sooner rather than later.

What is your experience with these Edcor transformers? I hear they are pretty good and cheap.
It is a pity there is no dealer here in Europe.

Hi Rovano,
Maybe I'm not the  best person to ask.  I really do not know much about available options to these transformers.  All of my previous tube amp experience has not included modifying or swapping transformers.  I have to think that they must be Top Notch if Steve recommends them.  He seems to know his stuff.  Have you been to Edcore website.  They might ship to Europe.  If not, I've seen them on another website before.......
That looks like a real nice amp you posted Smiley

Thanks litefootdan,

I like yours to. Yes, I have been on the Edcor site and yes, they ship to Europe, but it is really expensive to ship heavy weights. Not to mention the custom and vat taxes. Hammond transformers can be bought here, but they are quite pricy.

Hi litefootdan ... your almost there ...

1. You need to upload your pictures to an online host such as Photobucket (which you have already done).

2. Then go to your picture on the Photobucket website and (a) right click on top of the actual picture, (b) select Properties, (c) when the Properties window opens up highlight the Address: (URL) link (it will have a .jpg at the end of the address), (d) right click again on the address you just highlighted and select Copy.

Now that you have the Adress: URL path copied, you need to paste it over at the Decware Website, so the rest takes place on the Decware website.

3. The third button over is the Insert Image button, (a) click that button, (b) paste the picture's Address: URL (that you copied from Photobucket) in between (with no spaces).

4. Then click the Post button and that should be it ...

It seems like a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of it ... it only takes a few seconds. Cool

It should appear something like this:

Notice that there is a space (highlighted in yellow), this space is only there so you can see what the code should look like, however when posting for real - there should be no space or it won't appear.

Dan, all you need is the path that goes from HTTP though the .jpg

You click on the third icon you see while composing a message, it's really small, but it looks like a Polaroid photo of some trees or something, and if you hover your mouse pointer over it, you'll see "Insert Image". Click on that, and it will pop the

Lonely Raven,
The big drivers in the naked boxes are AN 15" drivers.  There also a pair of AR2AX's shown, but they are driven by a Dynaco Stereo 120.  Second shelf from the top holds that super-rad dual-mono pair of ZKIT1's.  They feed love to the Audionirvana speakers.

Woohoo!  Next thing you know you'll be coding for Microsoft Windows 9 Grin

Wow, those drivers are huge!  I love the vibe with the Walnut and Natural woods and I'm thinking it must sound even cooler than it looks!
