Hello,
It came up recently on the SE84C+ board that when Steve changed from original Hammond to newer custom power transformer, he soon thereafter discovered the amp improved by taking out the 10k/3.3uF resistors/caps and changing the plate resistors from 47k to 56k.

I'm just about to box up a couple zkit1s and am wondering if I should make this change.

Since this change was driven by the power transformer, does anyone know how the Edcor transformer recommended for zkit1 compares to the original Zen Hammond and/or the newer custom transformer??

Perhaps someone has done similar mods??
