I know it has been said that 5R4G is suitable for SE84C (not C+) and indeed I recently put one in my SE84C and it sounds great.  However, non of the official documents mention a 5R4G can be used in SE84C.  As such, I would like to confirm you you guys that 5R4G will not damage the SE84C even with long term use.  Thanks.
