OK,  I have a few more 5U4G's to sell.

1946 RCA 5U4G with bottom getter and full top mica.  Smooth blackplates but no center guide rods like the earlier VT-244's.  Date code is 6-39, tests as new, $24.00 plus $6.00 Priority Mail shipping.


Pair of 1948 RCA 5U4G's with bottom getters, full micas, smooth black plates.  No center guide rods like the early VT-244's (and early 40's commercial tubes).  Overall height of the tubes are about 1/2" shorter than the preceeding 1946 RCA.  Both tubes test as new, although one has a tiny bit of the getter strip burned off.   Date codes are 8-48 and 8-52.  $40.00 plus $8.00 Priority Mail shipping.

All three of these tubes are very clean and look near new.  No loose bases or rattles. All of the pins have been cleaned with Deoxit.

I have listened to them in my Decware 84ZSM monoblocks, and they sound very nice.  I prefer them to 1950's RCA 5U4G's (commercial or military).
