Military 1955 RCA 5U4G, ST shape, tests NOS--$24
Markings on this tube are JAN CRC-5U4G, and 5-52.
I tried it in my Torii III and 84ZSM monobloc, and it sounds very good in both.

Matched pair green label 1959 Sylvania 5U4G's with identical date codes of 913.  These test as NEW and both sound nice in my Torii III.
Sonics of these bottom getter ST shape tubes are somewhat similar to RCA's, in my experience.  Price for the pair is $45.00

1940's National Union VT-244 Military 5U4G.  This ST shape NOS tube is about 1/2" taller than the preceeding RCA and Sylvanias. Beefy construction with wire support rods up the center of the tube.  It sounded great in one of my 84ZSM monoblocks, and if I had a pair I would certainly keep it.  It tests 100/100 and the price is $50.

I've rcently picked up some 40's Sylvania VT-244's, mid 1940's RCA bottom getter's, and early 40's Ken-Rads, so I'm selling off my other 5U4g's, as I could use the $.
