Why I hate live shows on DVD
01/02/12 at 20:33:07

Check this out.  This is the late, great Roy Buchanan and what gets me is the guy that shot the film forgot that Roy has a guitar in his hands.  Notice how many times Roy is doing his thing and you never see what he is doing.  Geez...this kills me.  Forget about directors that try to get artsy and show off a hundred points of view per second and it gets me sick.

I don't understand why they can't plop a camera in front of the stage and leave it there...DONE!!

I hear ya Matchstikman. This stands in stark contrast to the excellent video and audio of Lindsey Buckingham's Songs from the Small Machine.

Watching some of Lindsey's finger-picking almost makes me feel like my own fingers are blistered and bleeding.
