Picked up some DCM TimeFrame 350's...free!

hey guys, just wanted some input.
i got a pair of the TF-350's for free, they need new speakers,
blown or otherwise...all buzzy and crap sounding.
anyone got any suggestions for replacement speakers?
thought about doing away with the crossover and running a full range driver with a cap to a tweeter like steve does on his...
anyone got any experience tinkering with these units?
