Hi Steve,

It seems that the "quote button" is missing on the forum pages .....

Is it just me ..... ?

Thanks,

Randy

There is a quote button here in the editor that you can copy and paste into, but it does seem like there used to be an actual button right on the post at one time... I think you're right!

Zombie thread, I know, but as a new guy who uses a handful of other forum software elsewhere, it is pretty disorienting to not be able to easily reply to a specific comment (or give a comment a "like" or "thumbs up").

Get used to it.  Nobody here seems to care if they get "likes" for their posts.  It's not that kind of forum.

If you want to quote then use the "quote" function in the tool bar.  I'd rather Steve be innovating and building equipment than polishing the Forum functions.

You can reply to a specific comment by quoting it.

You seem nice.  I wouldn't want Steve to spend any time polishing the forum software. Forum software is a problem that's been solved. Good off-the-shelf solutions are available.

You have no idea.   Angry

Wow, quoting you was such a struggle.  I think I need a nap.

I wish we had a "like" function so I could see if I could get validation!   Smiley

I go to the member's profile page and select show their most recent posts, there is a quote button under each post.

I don't quote other posters a lot, so no big deal to take a few extra steps.
