Hi folks, this my first post on your forum after following some threads with interest for some time now. I live aboard a boat in a beautiful quiet part of sydney harbour australia and apart from using a motorised generator set for mains power we have a solar charged 12vDc to 240 ac inverter which is quiet, the noisy generator is distracting. I'm wondering if anyone has  experience or thoughts on the idea of running a small tube amp from this type of power source. Really I'M WONDERING IF SIGN WAVE POWER FROM AN INVERTER IS SUITABLE.  Anyone have any experience to offer. Chris R.
