Been using a Silvertone 5Y3GT tube from 1956 in my taboo for several days now and I think I like it.  The sound seems a bit smoother. I also like that it produces less light since I use my DecGear to go to sleep at night. I do have one complaint about it though, it produces quite a bit more heat than the  5U4G stock tube.

This is my first experience at tube rolling.

I am going to need a case of some sort to keep other tubes in... I am thinking of building one. Anyone have any interesting designs or thoughts about this?
