For sale: Torii Mk11 just back from a full checkup with Steve this past week. A Gold Point Stepped Attenuator was added - this is a $250 modification. Unit is in mint condition and comes with a spare set of 5U4G's. I'm the 2nd owner. Steve has graciouslly offered the full lifetime warranty to be transferred to the next owner so you can purchase with confidence! Please email any questions to me. I have a MK II in my bedroom system. (What a luxury!) It's a fantastic amplifier, very similar in many ways to the Integrated version 2, but much more powerful. I'm very fond of it. Only the MK III has bested it with my speakers and sources.

I think it was selling for 1995.

Actually, some years ago I accidentally deleted my first account here and I think I had even more than that as far as posts on that one. I don't post as much any longer.

I don't remember there ever being other specs published on that model, not as are currently on the MK III page. I personally would guess they're similar to the MK III's. The differences between these amps are both subtle and deep. . . hard to explain.

Yes, the price was $2,500 when it was new. The Goldpoint stepped attenuator adds another $250 to the price so this is a $2,750 amp when new. As it will have the full lifetime warranty it is quite a good price at $1,500. This is serial number 036 and was originally purchased about 1.5 years ago. I have owned it about 9 months.
