Enabled DFRs anyone?

Has anyone tried to 'Enable' DFR drivers. The enable process I'm talking about is the one that they talk about on the Planet 10 website. It's supposed to improve the sonics of Fostex drivers. There are some zealous advocates, but it looks like a fair effort and involves a bit of expense getting the required tools/materials, so am interested if anyone has tried it.

They have their own cone treatment (dampening I think?) for Fostex drivers. And they would know better how to do it to match correctly the sound from these already modified Fostex drivers - namely the phase plugs. Planet 10 is modding (stock) Fostex drivers.
