Just Received my CSP2 From Repair

Seems the pots had gone to pot, so my home unit was repaired under the wonderful DECWARE Lifetime warranty. It was returned today and now really shines.

Home CSP2: That microphonic Electro Harmonix 6922 I had out front began to hum; so out it goes. It is doing a terrific job with the input from the MINI TORII. It picks up the sound signature of the MINI and brings you to earphone heaven.

Office CSP2: A little voice kept telling me, "test the input tube," an Electro Harmonix 6922 that had been in use for quite a while. I brought it home to test and see that one side died; and worse, no funeral! No wonder I was having to turn up the trim pot on one side more than the other to get a good sound out of the TABOO there.

The CSP2's are great but you have to use good tubes and test them once in a while.
