Mike,

It was some pretty impressive veneer, I had a heck of a time with the veneer pulling away from its backer. We ended up re-veneering the edges from the "V" grove to the edge, but it all turned out alright. We buy all our veneer from Tape ease and they had some new Birdseye sent to replace what we had for the trouble we went thru. Very stand up company in my opinion. At 350.00 plus, they didn't hesitate.

We are all still waiting to see the pictures of your HDT build.....

Sort of a Fender "Olympic White" . . . I have a Stratocaster in that color (nitro finish) that I love the look of.

USA	Re: Some pics Reply #8 - 03/26/10 at 02:48:18 Thanks Don, I like the white myself, actually Steve finished his NFX's in white, and I always liked them, I was just afraid the contrast between the white and black might be too much, now that I've lived with them for a few months, its just right. The sound is just right too!!!
