6CA7 and or 6l6 GC with Torii Mk III? (Read 4977 times)

6CA7 and or 6l6 GC with Torii Mk III?

Can you use 6CA7 or (6L6gc , I know a long shot) tubes with the Torii MK III.  Has anyone tried these tubes?

The 6CA7 ought to be fine.

The 6L6 is probably not going to work w/o significant fooling around....
