Mini-Torii mods

i loved my stock mini-torii , now i'm crazy about it with some few minor tweaks. Shocked

First i replaced the volume pot with two mono Goldpoint ones.

second replace the two IC caps in the signal with one 0,1 silver/oil mundorf and a 0,022uF
teflon nos cap ..

the result : transpararency, sweetness , musical bliss.
next step : i'm waiting for GE 6L6 coke bottle and Telefunken 801s

juanitox Ex Member	Re: Mini-Torii mods Reply #2 - 11/19/09 at 18:07:01 6L6 G 1950 in the house. damned you were right , it sounds really different than with the stock russian 6N6 . the bass is a little rounder, but the medium and up sounds like a normal SE 300B. very nice with Horn ;) i let it burn 2 or 3 days..

it's the 0.022uF Vcap Teflon, but it's expensive , i have tried a russian teflon FT1 before and it is just behind the Vcap but not so far for 4$. silver/mica was a little muded as russian paper in oil. for the 0,1uf cap , a mundorf silver/oil just fit un the place between the reg and the 12at7 very nice upgrade too Wink

last night , the boss of my local shop in MONACO whas very impressed by the decware / Avant-garde combo and was dissapointed when i say you only sell in direct with a furious cheap price Grin
