Decfest recap

Great turnout, excellent weather.  DeVon did a splendid job on the eats.  Steve's listening room/home theater is near to completion and looks fantastic.

I spent the first two days listening to many pieces of equipment that were unfamiliar to me and to quote the best set of ears I know "there wasn't a runt in the litter".  Others I'm sure will fill in the details and provide pictures.

But, after two days of audiophile bliss I longed to hear my own system.  Raced home, fired everything up and sat back for a evening of music.  SILENCE!  WTF?

Rather than smash something I shut it all down and waited till the next morning to retry.  Next morning all is well.  Was a problem with the laptop.

Thanks Steve, DeVon and Bob for a great weekend.

Hey Dennis!

Glad to hear ya made it back in one piece.

It sure was a great weekend for one of the best Audio shows around.

The folks at Decware pull off a great show every year!  Steve, Devon and Bob work very hard to make this show happen.

I enjoyed Steves new integrated amp.  A very very cool lil amp with a sweet sound!  Even sounded great with an ipod connected directly to its inputs.

Was a real treat being able to see everyone again.  Already looking forward to next years event!!

Dave

P.S.  Devon that soup is like crack!!  I am addicted and am already suffering withdrawel symptoms.  :)

Yes, It was a great weekend, I had a great time seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.
Weather was fantastic, the room looks good, a comfy couch, all the beer you can drink, lots of great food, and music all day long.  :)
It must be DecFest.
Thanks Steve, Devon, and Bob.

Thank you, DeVon, Steve & Bob for a great weekend at Decfest. DeVon that Soup is like crack per Dave's post!  Could not have enough. It was fun to meet new Zener's and see some old friends not seen since 2005. I look forward to next year (Randy you gotta be there man).
Steve, thanks again for tuning up my amp. I found that bad tube(s) and tossed um (I marked the tubes in progression of the incident). I then fired up the Amp/system with some new ones and Larry & Lee, also some Peter White were once again in the room.  Thanks.
