13.5" subs ?? scaling question

Hey there guys, im here to ask the guru's!

Im highly interested in building a WO as im stuck using factory alot ported boxes that dont arrange well in my boot, stuck with them being 13.5" doesnt lend me to a whole lot of aftermarket options aside from building myself.

My subs are JL W3 13.5" I understand that when using 12"S with wo's you can raise the box 2" and slightly tilt the baffle.

So 13.5"? will I need to scale the whole box 30% larger? im trying to fit this in a large sedan boot so I do not have infinate space to play with I can fit in rougly 4'x4' into my car with around 18-20" headroom when sliding in

.. what are the best options to go by  scale or raise box height and tilt baffle?

if scale would be be around 30-35% bigger?

for best results you need to keep the wo no larger than 36x36 inches, this keeps the geomitry of the horn the way steve designed it. after that just increase the height of the walls (14") and angle the baffle to allow your subs to fit.

people have had mixed results scaleing the wo, but if you make it 36 x 36 x 14 im reasonably certain you will be very happy Smiley
