From the NFX design notes:
"The rear wave chaos that happens inside most reflex cabinets and horn designs is what causes the infamous "midrange shout" that these drivers [high efficiency full range] are incorrectly known for."

Lowthers are the famous shouters. Has anyone tried them in NFX yet?
