Good news Rod!  I've never heard the 3s, but I've had my 2s for years and I just love them.  They sound better with time, and I learn how to make them sound better by placement, different resistors, etc. as time goes by too. . . . A fantastic design!

Good thing you kept them Rod!
Though my testimonial after hearing the RL3's at DecFest 2 years ago is testimony that they can blow you away right out of the box.
