Well, they worked fine for indoor use but I needed something that could do double duty. The HW is an over the top HT sub that works so well you can use it for other applications. Down here in the land of festivals and Mardi Gras, I need something that will reach out and touch at long distances so I opted to go with horn loaded subs. Another reason which has nothing to do with performance, is the easy access to the woofers. I've had people drop hurricanes in the top port and take out both 15's and if you've ever taken the time to ask a drunk person to cough up 300 bucks, it dosn't go over really well. While about 50% of my jobs would still allow me to use my HW's, I just dont have the space to store it all and I need to upgrade to a more prosound solution.
