After the rave review of the 1.5 on positive feedback I'm wondering if the HDT will be worth an additional $100 (used).  Because my speakers are in a study room I end up listening them quite close and I'm using an old Sansui beast to power them.  Mainly used for non-classical music.  What do you think?

at close quarters with gobs of power (well more than 2W) I think the radials are the ones for you Grin But if youre thinking about the offers on audiogon those HDT´s are fantastic value Grin and leave you in a better place regarding upgrading roomsize ect.

Thank you both for the replies.  Sounds like the 1.5's are the right fit.  

Although.... if anyone reading this lives in Pittsburgh and wouldn't mind auditioning them I'd love to stop by - I can donate my ultra cool (mp3) demo cd Wink
