DBK-212 with clamshelled Daytons?
03/31/06 at 03:27:34

Has anyone built the DBK-212 with clamshelled speakers?  I'm curious.  I'd like to have better HT capabilities.  Would a pair of woofers clamshelled handle the very low end better than a single?

Would the DBK-212 work well clamshelled, or would I be better off building a scaled down house wreaker?

I guess I had settled on Dayton woofers, but not the model.

i don't remember right, but steve said it would be a tough choice between db-12 and hw12. i can't remember how many woofers he was talking about. try to find it in the old forums. that's where i read that.
from what i've been told, it would be better to build a HW when having 2 woofers available. i'd vote for more acuracy, and choose 2 db-12 if room is available.
