It all depends on size and money constraints.  I prefer the DB10 sound over the DB12.  Of course my experience witht he DB12 is limited to a number of cheap subwoofers isobarically louded into it.


If you can afford to build a DB 12, which is considerably larger than the DB10, loud the DB12 with a good 12 and power it well, it would prolly perform as well as the DB10 and go a little lower.

If size is a constraint the DB10 fits in almost any trunk, and it is easier(IMHO) to find a decent 10 incher.
