Housewrecker 12" Pictures

well I finally sat down after 6 months of debating with myself whether I should do it or not and made myself a 12" version of the  housewrecker

it's not as good as some of the others i have seen and I haven't painted it yet but thought i'd share my pictures so far

I have two 12" Power Accoustik 500Watt 8 Ohm (setup so is a 4 ohm load on the amp) woofers and they provide real chest thumping bass

well i just thought i'd share what i've done so far... I'm going to paint it black and then maybe make a deathbox next...  :D

it certainly looks real nice...

if you'll use it in a car, you'll be very satisfied. i haven't done extended test with mine (a db-10) in-car, but it sounded promising... i'm currently using it in-home and i'm really happy.
if you plan to use your db inside, i think you won't get bass as low as with your hw.

we're planning on putting the deathbox in a friends car, haven't got around to making it yet though (friggin work). Another friend of mine reeeeally wants a HW in his station wagon... i'm hoping he was kidding though

so far ive had countless complaints about it, the HW by itself (going through a tone sweep of 10hz - 200hz) drowns out the neighbours TV next door and the neighbours next door to him...

even on low volume i hear the door handles rattling across the room hehe

this is just NUTS!

yeah i have

I've pretty much tried all different settings, magnets in bottom and top chambers, clam shelled in bottom chamber, single woofer in bottom chamber, both speakers facing up etc and have settled with the magnets in the top and bottom chambers as it seems to give more impact than the other setups Smiley

top speaker is in normal phase the bottom speaker is in reverse. I did have it the other way but for some reason the top speaker made weird noise?
