Title: ZMA Regulator Tubes

Can one substitute OA3 regulator tubes on the ZMA? Any suggestions here based on experience, I'm curious about the OD3W tubes.

HK, doesn't look likely. According to the manual, there's no substitution for these tubes:

There is a russian equivalent that sounds very good, SG2S.  Also, Steve has condoned using OB3 which is a 90V regulator (OA3 is 75 V).  I admit I don't know exactly how this fits into the circuit.  I ahve tried several and went back to OA3.    Jerry
