DO people use these a lot ? , I want t o do all that I can to protect my Sarah 300B but are these needed and do they change the sound

I’m a big believer in socket savers, but I also do a lot of tube rolling. If you want to experiment with a lot of different tubes they are a good idea IMO, but if you’re just going to run with the same tubes for the long term they aren’t much of an advantage. High quality tube sockets like Decware uses are very durable, but if there is a problem I’d rather replace a socket saver than the socket.
