Title: .....another new system
Post by travel250 on 01/16/24 at 17:27:34

This system brings me hours of enjoyment.
It gets me through good times and bad.
I'm glad to have stumbled across the Decware community.

Very nice. I don't recall any other posters with dual SE34Is.

Beautiful setup!!  I don’t know anyone else with dual Rachel’s either.  Love the magic eyes on the CSP3.

That is a beautiful looking system 😍

Where did you find the stand or did you build it? Perfect fit for your components.

Tony

(Edited)
I too am glad of being part with Decware in this community. There are times of silence but I have always tried to stay abreast of going-ons here. By doing so, the posts of others have always seemed to spur me on to keep creating and further expand my systems.

This post, travel250, got me digging in the closet and patching a system together filling a void left when the TV in the family room made it to the new camper.
It consists of Akai AP-Q60 turntable with Stanton 681EEE cartridge, conical needle(soon to be elliptical), JVC XL-5000 CD player/recorder, Decware source switch, AKSA100 amp, 10 gauge DIY speaker cable, Dennis Murphy's award winning crossover for the KenSue speakers(details of drivers to follow as soon as I can find the DIY2000 competition file!), and Dayton 12" sub.

Very nice boxy layout travel250!

Thanks all, appreciate the kind words.  [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Tony, the stand comes from "Timbernation", very nice people to work with and I was able to customize to my needs.

JB, keep looking in your closets there may still be system to fill another empty space.

I've been looking at their (Timbernation) work and it does look beautiful. I think my only concern (not really a big one) is the lack of glued joints. Have you found it solid or has there been play that creeps in?

Great looking/clean system.

I’ve had a TimberNation rack for a few years now and haven’t noticed any play at all—even when we recently moved it while it was fully loaded with 3 shelves of gear.

Lon,
I've owned the rack for 2 years and have not noticed any loose joints, still as solid as the day I assembled it.

Regards,
