Title: Sharing Playlists
Post by GroovySauce on 10/12/23 at 13:27:49

I was asked to share some playlists at Decfest. I'll post more from time to time.

is it Getting Weird in Here or is it Just me?

https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/17276504 (12 tracks)

https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/b0fa4577-aa60-419e-b7c5-cf139feb5274 (16 tracks)

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1Vr4vgbGqjeSeMkSQDmnxk?si=cfd13e3f69c34b71 (16 tracks)

They Keep Coming (Songs That Don’t go Together)

https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/17276501 (77 tracks)

https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/38b741c0-e68b-427f-948c-67f059051ad8 (82 tracks)

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5ABZIeUHUKviIiaYSnXuQT?si=8149c8edf55c40f0 (82 tracks)

Decfest 2023 (quick access)

https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/17228297  (27 tracks)

https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/94d0fcae-a1b7-4725-9ec4-2aefa39bc1cf (33 tracks)

As you can see by the track count Qobuz is missing tracks on all the playlists.

Here are two EPs that I enjoy. They will take you on a journey.

Kant Sleep - In the Woods. | 15:48 minutes, basically 1 long song.

https://open.qobuz.com/album/dut2k19p33rba

https://tidal.com/browse/album/77812016

Mirage of Deep - Talking to Stars | 28:57 minutes

https://tidal.com/browse/album/66314648

Not available on Qobuz.

Exploring Bass, When I put this together I made sure that all songs were available on both Tidal and Qobuz.

https://open.qobuz.com/playlist/15808812 (11 tracks)

https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/12c04224-060a-4de8-b0bf-a029e2ce7913 (11 tracks)

These are not "audiophile" playlists These are songs that I enjoy.

Also if you haven't heard the new album by Dominique Fils-Aime - Our Roots Run Deep, I've been enjoying it. I have this on vinyl haven't cleaned and played it yet. Waiting for the Torii MKV to get back from Cryotone.

HK, my pleasure.  Most of the above is all over the place. I did stay away from jazz, "well known songs" and more audiophile-ly stuff. A few did sneak in...

If you share a few of the tracks you enjoyed I can put together a playlist with more similar tracks.

Thanks for including Tidal selections.
That is the only 'script I keep up.

I feel like my Fudd avatar when I see so many new services out there these days.
I assume they all offer a higher resolution option as well?

DD, absolutely! I started with Tidal then tried Qobuz. I did prefer Qobuz over Tidal on a SQ front. Back when I was running Roon I would let it do it's AI song picking as I was working. Every time I thought something didn't sound right it was Tidal.

Tidal does have a bunch of stuff that isn't available on Qobuz so I keep both.

I do wonder now that Tidal is no longer using the MQA scheme if I would have the same experience using Roons AI to pick songs or not.

I've only used Tidal and Qobuz. There are some other specialty high rez services out there. Focusing on Jazz or Classical.

I thought this latest Innuos update was implementing a way for me to easily share playlists with people. I was mistaken or am doing something wrong I sent Innuos support an email about it.

85% of my digital music playing is from files on the server.

Hopefully an easy way to share playlists from Innuos is available soon.
