Title: RCA 57-22 vacuum tube? Post by SonicSeeker on 09/30/23 at 13:56:09 I have a coke bottle shaped 57-22 by RCA and can't remember what this is? It has been in my drawer of tubes for 30 plus years so I don't recall. Anyone know what this is equivalent too? |

My old mind doesn’t work like it used to. I have a couple from an old reel to reel and I think that’s what they were. How do you like your Manley Chinook? I used a number of Manley products in my recording studio days. They were very nice. I’ve never heard their hifi products. |

That certainly looks like a 5R4. I've been browsing a number of RCA tube manuals and can't find any reference to a type 57-22. That kinda sounds like a date code to me: 22nd week of 1957. |
