Title: Rectifier tubes

Do they require burn-in time, too?

I would say Yes, but less time than other types. I find that within about 50 hours they are showing one what their nature and character are and they season a little bit as that goes along. That's been my experience.

My experience is by the time the amp is warmed up a new rectifier is pretty well broken in.

I am  in agreement with Lon. As I recall, I think truly NOS, or new rectifiers do tend to refine with time too, but agree that it is often not as intense as especially some of the inputs and power tubes! Let us know what you find out!
