Greetings,

I have been looking into Steve's ZAFP isolation platform for my UFO2, and I was wondering what thoughts you might have about such a device. I understand it can cut down on noise, but is it enough to make a significant difference?

Danny,

The main reason for those platforms is to help improve the focus of your soundstage by reducing vibration in the amplifier itself.

Thanks, Steve. I had a high-pitched ring happening the other night, and I had never heard that before. I went to the amp and felt around the transformer and the tubes, and it stopped. This got me thinking.
