Title: Copland DAC215 - 115V to 230V conversion
Post by alper_yilmaz on 01/17/23 at 13:04:50

I am trying to convert my Copland DAC215 from 115v wiring to 230.  Can someone walk me through which wire to be screwed into which hole?

Thanks in advance,

Alper

Looks like you just need to disconnect the upper brown and grey wires and connect a jumper between those two posts.

DO NOT jumper anything on the green connectors.

Remove the brown and white wires, solder or twist them together, and cover the joint with heat shrink. That will put the two coils of the transformer in series for 230VAC.

I'm assuming that the brown and blue wires coming from the shortest green connector are for the tube heaters.

I did exactly as you mentioned, and the unit is still in one piece and working!  :)

Thank you very much.
