Outstanding Shostakovich Cello Sonata by Narek & Ben - IMHO there is no cellist who can match Narek in this Russian repertoire...

I actually have Alena, Narek & Vadym here now to play a piano trio concert this Sunday! Schubert Nocturno, Mendelssohn Piano Trio No.1 & Beethoven Archduke Trio - I can't wait!!!

This got cancelled by the pandemic 2+yrs ago & really looking forward to make these recordings.

I also found some 1956 NOS WE437a tubes & have them in the mic pre-amp which takes the soundscape to things I've never imagined...

Then I bought 8 more of these 1956 WE437a for the 3 amps for my system & now the sound of LP & tape have jumped many levels.
I hate to sound so crazy but these are things one has to hear to believe & understand...

I have a full house 90 people for this concert & recording some solo piano rep with Vadym this morning!

They are here for 1 week of recordings.... a dream!

More later as the week unfolds!
