just more proof positive that stupid subject matter as a national matter is made up out of thin air for anything and everything…..like other stupid dumb crap like teachers day, black history month, ad nauseum. blah blah blah…to garbage like the aforementioned, i declare every day as kiss my ass day. what’s next, dildo day??????

Capitalism is awesome and The Answer, as long as it is guided by morality. So sez our very wise founding fathers. The observations from the other side make me laugh and concerned at the same time, they are spot on. I am guilty too on all of them, and my spouse agrees.

Much of that dumb shit is solved by setting up in a dedicated room, away from the nonsense of the daily living space. Set up a single lounge chair, no one else in, wife closed off, and melt away and be transported in peace. Plus I recently acquired a black light as I listen to the likes of J.S. Bach or Johann Michael Haydn; a trip that's fun being immersed in.

I had not thought of a blacklight, but I tend to light a few scentless candles most of the time.

candles are very cool! analog indeed

at times i have a large fake one going. the flickering in the room is nice.

Mine are real and on occasion, large. I have always enjoyed even my small scale fires.

I always keep a blade, some way to make a fire and something to mark with. That's in keeping with advice from my carpenter/farmer/blacksmith/hunter/leatherer/wheelwright grandfather.

OKNOTOK—-that blog is hilarious and dead-on! Having a ball reading through it. I hesitantly sent one post to my significant other. Although I want her to enjoy the view from the other side (and commiserate) it would be best not to make it obvious how many vacations I have squandered to get the singer in the room….
