For sale is a Dayton SA-100 plate amp and two 12” Eminence Alpha bass drivers. Asking $120 and buyer pays shipping from 39047.

For anyone looking to add some weight to an open baffle setup, this will do it.

Hi, Geno,

I am wondering if you have modified the Dayton plate amp.
There looks to be an additional "box" or cover attached that has one set of what I call banana jacks.

I am interested in your gear.
I can always use another plate amp with some of the stuff I do for people, but I am curious about any modifications.

Can you explain?

Hi DD.

This plate amp came from Caintuck Audio (Mr. Randy). He added the box with speaker terminals for a simpler connection setup.

Geno,

I have the Dayton SA-100 plate amp and 12” Eminence Alpha bass drivers and like it. Question. On your plate amp, where the binding post terminals that receive the banana plugs are mounted on a cross piece, is that cross-piece made of wood or a thin metal? I like that addition and ordered a pair of terminals to replicate what you have. I could not tell the material, wood or metal, that Randy used.

Hi Tony. The enclosure box is made out of wood.

A good idea on Randy's part, and with the 2 speaker terminals for a nice easy speaker connection.
