Title: Bypass mod capacitor size
Post by Liquid Snake on 05/01/22 at 12:25:38

Hi

I was wondering does anybody know the capacitance (uF) of the capacitors used for the bypass mod in the SE84UFO?

I'd like to do this modification by myself because I live in Switzerland and shipping back and forth would be too expensive.

cheers and thanks  [smiley=vrolijk_1.gif]

The bypass caps are matched to the value of the signal caps.  Matching the signal cap exactly with the same brand and type of cap takes it up a notch.

May I ask, how did you come the conclusion to use the same value as the signal caps? Is there a calculation behind it or just trial and error?
