I've had several Decware amps in the last two decades. The one that has stuck around, which is the one I'm listening to as I type, is a blue Torii. It has served me well even during times when I tried to sell it.

Anyway, I've thought of upgrading it to a Torii Jr. The higher wattage amps seem to really sooth the savage beast in me that the SETs could never handle for me.

Now, what kind of difference would I hear with the Torii as compared to my well-worn, and well-seasoned blue? For all purposes, I will use this new amp without a pre-amp. I once had a CSP in from of the blue and in the end that CSP was sold because I found the sound of the amp without the pre-amp to be better for me.

So, if I order one, and would probably have to wait more than year for it, would the results be that much more above my current blue?

Can I get witness from Torii Jr listeners on this?

Just thinking too, "I've had several Decware amps" is going to gradually go extinct as a statement unless dramatic life extension becomes possible.
