SOLD: Recently bought this amp, Hooked it up and it plays beautiful music. BUT it started to OMIT an ODOR, No smoke, no blown tubes etc... No blown fuses just an Odd Odor. I shut it down and had a discussion with some knowledgeable folks that directed me into some testing. I tested the Power Transformer. It came out good. The plate voltage on the EL84 came in a bit high at 350 VDC. I put a lower voltage rectifier and tried the amp again but the Odor remains. I am at the end of my abilities, I have no access to a Tech and so am offering this amp as is. You are buying it with the understanding it needs service. Again it plays music, but I have no way of knowing what level of service it may or may not need. Price is 700.00 plus shipping. It will be double boxed and fully insured for the sale price. Payment accepted on this will be Paypal friends and family ONLY

Cosmetically the amp is easily an 8, This is a later version of Eddies design it has the ability to use either EL84 or 6p15p

The amp includes somewhat of a manual, and I will include 2 pair of 6p15 tubes, 1 pair of 6p14p, a Bugleboy 6922 and a sovtek 5r4 rectifier. Again this is sold AS IS, Needing Service, payable with Paypal Friends ONLY. Fully functional this amp is collectable and easily worth close to 1500
