Title: Waiting list suggestion
Post by CDN on 07/19/21 at 19:20:00

Hi Steve, I suggest putting a sequential number next to each order so it is easy to see how far down the list my order is, re- sequenced each time the list is updated.  Craig

I'm pretty sure you can sort by any column in the list.

Sort by Invoice Descending might work for what you want to see.

I had a similar experience when counting to find my current position in line.  What helped was to change the display to showing only 10 lines at a time.  Then begin clicking forward  through the many pages of people that are in front of me in line, then when I got to my page it was easy to count down to find my exact number.  I quit doing this as often now as I know it will take awhile, but once a week I like to see how much closer I get to the top.  If there is an easier way, please let me know.

If you go to the top right corner to the "more options" icon and select spreadsheet you shuold get numbers for each line.

Gabs.....I found that feature too, and caused me to laugh hysterically seeing how high my number is ......it'll be worth the wait though.

We are making sure it will be worth the wait.  It's always been worth the wait, but now that the wait is 8 months, there is a lot of pressure to hurry.  We are slowly adding process, but hurry is not one of them.  That way we can be certain that now when it is more important than ever that every customer feels like it was well worth the wait because they amplifier they receive is flawless.

Today a customer called, victim of my lack of silk-screening on a UFO2, and didn't realize the layout was symmetrical so when hooking up the input cables did what would be logical and made each side match. Sadly this melted his head because only one channel worked. I knew before I got on the phone that both channels worked. And he was very pleased to find out the same  as you can imagine after such a long wait : ). 5 minute phone call, problem solved.  Cost Zero.

Steve , I’m very happy and reassured to hear you’re being steadfast in this regard and maintaining Decware’s high build standards by NOT giving in to the pressure and trying to rush orders through . Slow and steady works for me .
