It looks like all new builds have been put on pause. I hope things start up soon. More importantly, I hope everyone at Decware is doing ok.

Why do you say that?

There has been very little progress made over the past month.

The last 2 times I was on the build list I was in the 180's both times.
One build took 18 weeks and the other was 16 weeks.

It looks like they are about to push out close too 50 orders.

Even with no order pending, I spend way too much time looking at the build list!

A used amp just sold for a few hundred over new.
Decware needs to raise prices to slow sales.
Less work and stress, timely delivery of orders, same or more pay.
Win-win-win.

From Lin's pen to God's ears I suppose. Prices usually increase with time and material/labor cost anyway.

The best advice for anyone with an item in the build list is to just live your life and try not to be obsessed with the wait. Then one day you will receive an update "PARTS PULLED" then you know it is close to being fulfilled.

At one time William Zane Johnson was Audio Research and that was my choice... then he retired and what was Audio Research changed to what it is now.

At some point something similar will happen to Decware.  I consider myself fortunate to have gotten to know Steve and family and be the owner of some of the best components at some of the best value/price equations in my experience.

Yes the wait can be a challenge.  But it's well worth it!  You won't always have the opportunity.

Three+ weeks on the bench because they are waiting on parts. Time to pull the plug on this one.
