since the person selling this amp hasn't made the correction to his ad, i will.

notice: this is NOT a MK IV......it is a MK III that was upgraded to a MK IV, though to what extent those mods were done to make it a "full" MK IV is in question. the seller says he doesn't have anything from decware to back anything up, that "he took it to Steve and he did the mods in a couple hours".

i explained to the seller that he needs to clarify his ad because as it stood, it certainly seems misleading.

Yes indeed. Steve doesn't do mods that way to my knowledge. It would have to be processed like a repair/return/upgrade.

Most likely this is a bullshit listing like that guy who posted that he was dying and wanted to sell his equipment. Everybody genuinely felt sorry for him but he never came up with a list of what he was selling or anything.

Every time one of my amps goes to Steve for some upgrade, he notes it on the label. So, no note, no upgrade.
