Hi, I'm considering the Super Zen for my system but I'm not sure 2 watts are enough.
What's the procedure to switch from Stereo to Mono so that I can use 6 watts? I don't see any switch or indication for bridge mode.
Of course I know I would need a second amp.

These are the variables we would need to know to really help you.

1. What speakers are you using and how efficient are they?

2. What is the size of your room?

3. How loud do you want to play the music? How much background noise is in your listening environment?

My speaker are custom assembled with the following components:

Jbl 4530 + woofer jbl 2225h (8ohm 97dB)
mid driver jbl 2426j (16ohm 110 dB on 2370A horn) + 2342 horn
tweeter jbl 2404h (8ohm 105 dB)
xover jbl 3110a + 3105

The room is pretty big, 6,4x11 meters, but the sweet spot is more or less 3,5 meters from the front wall (image attached).

Every now and then I play music pretty loud but never as I was in a disco club.
I'm also considering the Super Zen for a bi-amp config to drive the mid-hi section coupled with a Crown PSA-2 for the bass section.
Some noise is present, when the room is silent I can hear the fridge and air conditioner running.

Hope you got everything you need.
Still curious about how to bridge the amp though ;)

You can look at the bottom of the SE84UFO manual and it has the procedure for bridging to mono. Basically you split each channel into both L and R inputs and jumper the left+ speaker terminal to the right- with a short cable. It also has the procedure for using stereo amps as balanced mono-blocks.

I'm not sure if anyone can give you a clear answer on your power needs. Your speakers are high efficiency but you also have a fairly large listening space. Someone with a larger space than mine might have a better idea.

If it were my choice, I would buy one amp and see if it is sufficient for my needs. If not, then order another and bridge them for more power. Prior to this, you might try contacting Decware and get their advice based on their experience.

Or, buy two and sell one if it is too much power :)
