I live in Houston TX, and I was going to try a local(ish) sale here first for a pair of MG944s. I bought these speakers from the original owner maxdtex. You can see his original ad for these speakers at usaudiomart. I will copy the url on my 3rd message per forum rules.

Speakers still look the same as they have been well taken care of. I love these speakers, but I have to get rid of a pair before the lady of the house will let me build another set of speakers. These are the only speakers I own that I didn't make myself, and that is why they are for sale. She even said "ah the pretty ones" in disappointment when I told which set I was going to sale. The bubinga does nothing for the sound, but it sure makes a good looking speaker look even better.

Asking $800 for local(ish) sale. I will be willing to meet someone halfway from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, etc...
