Title: Wax plug in ear
Post by Geno on 05/26/20 at 18:10:14

This morning, I went to a local medical clinic (no Donnie, not for a penicillin shot🥺) because I have been having an issue with continual water build up in my right ear canal. A closer look by the nurse revealed blockage. A good flushing washed a chunk of wax out. Instant relief!!! No telling how long that had been building up. My hearing was so strange for the first few hours as my ears had to adjust. I couldn’t wait to get home to play some music. I’m liking what I’m hearing (and how I’m hearing🤓)

There is a story about Stevie Ray Vaughan's sound man always running the sound to  just earsplitting levels (The times I saw him I wore earplugs). The sound guy claimed that it was fine, not too loud at all.
So eventually the road manager talked the sound guy into getting his ears checked, lo and behold, he found out that his ears were both clogged up almost solid with wax.

After the ears were cleaned out the volume was brought down closer to a normal level.

No Penicillin was needed!
